Connections

The Connections Team's unique contribution to that vision is to be joyfully proactive people with eyes to see, the training to respond, and the heart to follow up, so that strangers might become family. While serving on the Connections Team is fun, a good way to meet new people, and something fun to look forward to during the week, it's primarily a counter-formative spiritual practice: an opportunity to be others-focused in a self-centered culture, to share in the servanthood of Jesus in a self-serving culture, and to embody God’s desire for a hospitable people amid a city where it’s easy to feel unseen and unnoticed.
