One of the things we say every week at Church of the City New York is that we want to close the gap between what we read about in Scripture and what we actually experience today.

A Bible study method we use is called SOAPS, a simple framework for helping God’s Word move from information to transformation.

Each day, read the assigned passage, ask what God is saying or highlight to you, and write down one way you’ll respond. Then share what you’re learning with a friend, family member, coworker, or someone you’re praying for.
